Hi, I’m Dr. Iman Rahimi Thornton – a compassionate, fun-loving general dentist proud to call Texas home.
I was born in Kuwait and raised in Dubai, where I first felt called to the medical field. That calling was solidified when my mother survived a life-threatening scorpion bite—I witnessed firsthand the incredible impact healthcare professionals can make, and I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others.
I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in the United Arab Emirates, followed by an additional two-year Doctorate of Dental Surgery in San Antonio, Texas. I then completed a one-year Advanced Education Residency in Rochester, New York. Along the way, I fell in love with Texas, and decided to make it my home. That decision was made even easier when I met my wonderful husband, Paul, a Bryan native, who played a big role in helping me settle into life here. We now have two amazing children and a sweet fur baby, Ada. In my free time, I enjoy biking, traveling, cooking, and spending quality time with my family. I also love giving back through community service whenever I can.
As a dentist, my superpower is helping patients feel calm and at ease—even during the most complex procedures. I believe that a gentle approach, paired with compassion and expertise, can turn even the most anxious visits into positive experiences.
